Sorry Giaur, but IMO reloads are NEVER acceptable.
If you forget to do something, then that's a lesson learned and you won't forget next time. If someone surprised you in an attack, tough luck.
I've played Civ since version II first came out. And yes, I was suckered into reloads too, but I have long since given them up and can't say I miss them in the least. I'll never win Diety, or likely even Immortal, but I'd rather not win that way.
Random civ selections, no reloads. If I never get beyond Monarch I'll be happy anyway. I'll try a Diety game and see how many turns I can last. You can try a Prince or Monarch game without a single reload.
This may sound arguementative but that's not what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to let people know that there are a great many players who play to adapt to situations rather than controlling the game. Try some games as random civs without reloads and perhaps you'll find you enjoy the game even more.
