Ive been playing alot in the dark, buying the lvl 1 of each spell just to see what the lvl two is.
I do have the manual now but Id love to make a chart listing the spells by Node type.

Has anyone made something like this already?

Found the civilopedia easier to access through the "promotion" category, where all spell levels are accessible next to each other, without knowing their specific name.

I thought Maelstrom was at 30% now tho?? In any case, making the cap at 50% makes it more worthwhile, not anymore imba than Ring of fire, and brings back a small amount of balance to counter tsunamis. Or rather for a magic civ to have a way to counter the AoE spells used by most religions.
(well, enough religions to pose a problem)

religion AOE spells- Ring of Fire, Pillar of Fire, Crown of Brilliance, Tsunami

as to my views on such AOE spells in generall, Pillar of Fire seems too overpowered, and I would rather it be a Seraph only spell, as that seems kinda special case scenario being Mercurians and all.

Also, Tsunami seems too overpowered.
There has to be a way to build magic resistant units from the factory or else there is no way to defeat a large army supported by these spells. (Bone Palace?)
