Has Anyone seen the Science Spike

Playing BNS with CEP v3.4.2 and CAT
Around turn 35 or 40, I get a sudden flood of science points, about 150.
Playing King on STandard Panagea

Several others have seen this too. We need more logs as I've having trouble getting 3.4.2 to run again.

I'm playing in Epic speed, and by 550BC we are building the cathedrals. Difficulty is Deity, so yes, AI got a load of bonuses, but it still seems that they also benefit from those spikes of research points.
