Has there been a new patch?

After weeks of not playing, I now wanted to start a new game. Found out that the game updated and well... we know that the patch is crap concerning mods. So there is no way for me to play G&K in the next weeks (until the bugs are fixed) with this mod (don't force me to play vanilla, please!) because of this ******** Steam autoupdate crap?
