Have Civ 2 Multiplayer Gold, but hardly any music

I had recently bought Civilization Chronicles, which introduced me to the whole Civ series. I started with the first Civ (which is the Windows version) and then moved up to Civ2. I noticed that the same 3-4 songs always play over and over again. Then I looked up more about Civ2 and found out there are a ton of music from the original Civ2, Conflicts, and Fantastic Worlds that aren't even in my game. Although my Civ 2 Multiplayer Gold came with most of the scenarios from the two expansions, I don't have any of the music at all.

Is there any place where I can get the music to add to my game to make it more "complete"?

I've also got Civ2 Test of Time in my Chronicles set as well, and it looks like it's missing some of the music from the original release too. Anyone know more about that? I hate to have an "incomplete" set, because I feel like I'm missing out on the full experience.

They changed some of the music for each CD. You will probably have to buy those CD's online somewhere if you really want the music.

I found a readme that explained that all the music for Test of Time was on Disc 2 because there wasn't enough room on Disc 1, and sure enough they are all there on #2.

But there's still about 11 songs missing from Fantastic Worlds which includes most of the ones from the original Civ2. It would've been nice to have those in the set that I bought.

By the way, how does the expanded version of Civ 2 compare with Alpha Centauri? I read the expanded version continues the game on the alien planet.

Agree on the missing music. As for ToT Expanded vs AC: no comparison (although it's fun to continue on that alien planet).

Ceterum censeo Chronicles should have included the original Civ.:gripe:
