Here's the skin I used in my Switzerland Civ. I figured it might be good for Medieval scenarios, so I've posted it for download here.

Maybe you could add the orginal unit beside the other one in the pic. :-)

At first sight even whithout knowing what the unit is, you can say it's a swiss guard. They look exactly like in Vaticano!
Great job excellent!

Sorry to correct you, but they don´t look like the swissGUARD in vatican city,
they rather look exactly like the "generic" swissMERCENARIES

The Swissguard has blue and yelow as its colours

really no affense meant korvgubben. :)

@Robo Magic Man:
I like this unique unit alot, perfect thing for switzerland:goodjob:

Just one thought: you could make his shirt the same brown/red as his pants, so its easier to distinguish him from the original cIV pikeman

I had tried to do that, but since the original pikeman's non-armor clothes are almost entirely civ-specific colors, they show up as gray in gimp. Almost everything else is gray as well, making it very difficult to distinguish between the different areas of the skin when coloring them.
I may edit the skin and follow your suggestion later, but I just wanted to finish the skin so I could release the mod sooner.

The difference is mainly in the pants. They are now a lightish red with black stripes. The old version was mainly civ-specific with no stripes on the pants.

Swiss mercs good :) I wonder if the dutch comes in play again and get these fellows again?

There was a regular pikeman in the original Civ 4, and the 3D model is identical. The only difference here is that the Hellebardier's pants are red, whereas all non-armor clothing is civ-specific colored in the regular game.
