Nice forum. Hi SunTzu.

It suprized me that ppl still play civ2 and any pure turn-based strat game. Civ2 is a great game, it just took too much of my time.

Anyone here like Shogun: Total War? I played the demo and read a lot about it online. It is both turn-based and real-time combat. Kinda like Lords of the Realm 2, but the combat is 3-D!

Well My PC doesent suck but I usually try and get games on playstation civ 2 is on playstation and I think Shogun is on playstation too isint it??

I don't see anyone selling Shogun: Total War on the Playstation platform. It seems to be for just Win9x.

I got a playstation because there are a lot of good computer games remade on playstation like warcraft, simcity, civ, risk.

Starcraft and Civ II are, by far, the best games made ever. I have logged over 5000 hours playing civ II

I'd say, even though of course Civ is better, Shogun Total War is worth some time. It's also got it's administrative details, and for those of you out there who really like making war Shogun does focus more heavily on that. The morale and skill of troops and whatnot come into play heavily!

Anyways, Civ will always rule, but if I on occasion don't feel like playing it ( fat chance!

) I might slip in the Shogun CD and give it a go...
