I Acententaly deleated the dvqo.exe file. How do I replace without the Window 98 cd?

Use the backup copy of your OS that you keep on CDR ;).

Assuming you don't have a backup , just copy it from someone else's machine (that uses the same version of Win98 as you). You might search for that filename on the Internet... many places have replacement files online.

If I had I wouldn't have came here with the question.

I searched at MSN but they couldn't find anything that match my search though. Also how can I check which version I have so I can find someone with it?

I don't have Win98 (never have), but you'll need to find someone with the disk, or maybe ask at a windows drivers site... they might post it for you. I searched 5 general engines, and did not find a match for that filename. I have never heard of it before.

Right-click on My Computer and choose properties. It should say what version you're using.

TedG might be on to something... if you post your exact version, maybe someone here has that file, and can zip it and upload it for you. Did you try searching the MS Knowledgebase at www.microsoft.com?

Are you sure that's the exact filename?
I've got Win98 and I don't have it on my computer and when I performed a google-search it didn't show up with any results.....

Just to be sure (I don't think you are that stupid but I'll ask anyway), you have checked your waste-bin right? If you delete it, it should end up in there......
