My main storage drive is loading and running slow. It started yesterday when I could not get a file to open from a file for a text and picture based wrestling game and said game data base when I opened it on my HDD and put on my OS drive where said game is caused a run time error. That being said to compress a file around 1 GB is taking HOURS. I know this is bad. Do you guys think my HDD is going bad? Could it be something simple like a loose connection or maybe dust? I'm having anxiety about it.

Don‘t know about your HDD, but if it is going bad, this would be a good opportunity to get a SSD now :)

These SSD drives are making a huge difference.

Then problem is solved. Even better. 😊👍

Yeah, next time I get a computer, I gotta check to make sure it's SSD. After my last one I died I got a "refurbished" one, that was a couple years newer but still old. It's an HDD and I never know when it's gonna crap out on me.
