Help going back to BTS 3.17 from 3.19

I just updated to 3.19 but I have found out that now, none of my Mods work! I've also checked the Mods in the download section to see if there are updates but sadly there are not. (Ethnic City Styles I believe is one out of date component that might be causing the mod to crash.)

So, I've decided I'd be better off to just go back to BTS 3.17 version.

Here is my question: Can I just patch 3.17 over 3.19 and it would go back to 3.17? Or do I have to uninstall BTS all together? Or do I have to uninstall the entire Civ IV, Warlords, and Beyond the Sword game and expansion packs and do a clean install of each and then patch?

uninstall bts - reinstall - patch to 3.17
no need to touch vanilla or warlords
