I'm currently in a game in emporer and it's my second game in a row where this has happened i lost last time!I put it on bloodlust mode and it's me and 2 other teams left and i'm allied with both one is super strong stronger than me the other is weaker me and the stong team both have all tech's but he has lot's of money i'm stuck!anyone got idea's?
p.s. help me(i don't wanna include nuke's in my attack)

Since you are talking about nukes, I suppose you must be late in the game. If I was in that position, I would definately use some nukes and alot of spies. I think it's much harder to kill the enemies later in the game. That is why I insist on getting a good start with lots of cities (30 or so). Or at least destroy some civs in the beginning

Sorry, but I think there is a very little chance to pull it off, since you say that the other civ was "super strong stronger" than you.

Massbuild nukes, and take half of their cities in one turn. Then build some more nukes...hehe...maybe you should build some SSD (?) too.

Or, you could could build railroad everywhere to the enemy, and then take every city they have with howitzers. That never fails. :D

If the civilization that is stronger than you has an important advantage in production with respect to you, you have few probabilities in case of war. Anyway you can try this: as you have already all the knowledge, change to fundamentalism now and sell all your libraries and universities. Build a good army (all veterans troops) and then declare war to him when your army is ready to act. Go for his capital (you have a chance to split his empire) and some others cities that you consider important. If you have enough money use spies too. Remember that a good surprise attack can be definitive if you decrease his production to a lower level than yours.

I agree with Jorge.
Splitting both civs is the key. Especially the strong one first.
Just keep taking his capital until he splits.
I didn't know about splitting until a couple of months ago and so I went back to an old game I couldn't beat on Diety and won by splitting the Vikings and Mongols into Greeks and Romans respectivly. It made it a whole lot easier to deal with all of them. Then my ally the Aztecs and I took over the Vikings and Mongols as we hated them both and then I took over everyone.
I also agree with Jorge in switching to Fundy and taking over everyone.
:D

What the heck does "splitting the civ" mean? I've seen this mentioned many times in this forum, but have yet to see a good explanation on exactly what it means (or does). None of the Civ2 manuals mention anything on it either.

When a civilization that is behind in the power graph takes the capital city of another civilization that is above in the power graph, the strong civilization is splitted: some cities remains in that civil but some others become a new civil. This happens, of course, only if there are less than seven civilizations in the game.

Many times I have captured my adversary's capital during an extended battle with them, but I have yet to witness this so-called "split." I always start the game with 7 civilizations. Perhaps that is why? (Of course this number dwindles as the game progresses, and more and more civs are annihilated, leaving maybe 3 or 4.)
