Help!!! Leader = Army

Anyone plz...respond quickly...I just attained my first leader: Barbarossa. I moved him into a city in hope of building the army improvement (i think that is how it goes), but couldnt find it in the production list...the manual is a little sketchy on the specifics of designing this powerful multi-layered weapon...plz reply soon...I want to crush the British fools...

You need a 'victorious army' says the Civilopedia.. take your new leader.. make an army and go smash some heads...

YOU ARE THE FOOL - I dont even have the game but I know you need 3 units in the city to make an army and you dont use the build menu

I worked it out...its those silly little perform icons down on the bottom, center screen....(i already had 4 units in a city) Pommie bas#@rd...gone are the days of pop-down menus...now my army seems to want to charge off to London...oh well...tally ho

It's not obvious; I had to look at the command summary in the appendix to find it. When your leader is active, press "B" to build your army. Then I think I used "L" to "load" the guys into the army. I didn't check to see if it comes up as an icon in the bottom center of the screen. It may do that too.

Maybe it's a stupid question and I missed something but how do I "load" units into an army..? I don't see such an option when I cklick on a unit.. I dont get it!!

if the army leader is in the city, the units will have a load option at the bottom center of screen

???.. I dont have that option!! I have 1 army and several units in a city.. how is it possible to stack them together??

im sure u have already clicked on the leader's build army option so my only thought could be that u are maybe trying to create an army that is too large..each army only consists of 1 leader and 3 units/
