Help ME!!! I can't get Bug Mod to work

The auto install for bug installs. However, once it installs and I run the bug mode program it says that the directory for civ has been moved. how do i get it to find civ iv exe file?

You can search for it using the start menu search function. Alternatively if you have a shortcut for it you may see the adress in the properties.

For bug related issues - I know this is only sideways related - it is best to post in the subforum that is made for the BUG mod. There you are more likely to get specialised help.

You installed BUG 3.6 using the EXE installer?
You chose the multiplayer installation?
You checked the "Start Automatically" option?
It created a "Play BUG Mod" shortcut in the start menu?
This is the one that says the EXE has been moved?

If so, right-click the shortcut and select Properties. A window will appear with a button near the center called "Find Target...". Click it and navigate to your Civ4BeyondSword.exe application.

Did you install Civ4 in a different place? Do you have the standard off-the-shelf DVD version or some other one (e.g. CivComplete or CivGold or downloaded via Steam/Direct2Drive)?

HIJACK! Help, my BUG mod doesn't work!

All the XML lables turn out as Txt_Key_blahblah! What is wrong? It clutters the page and I just realized that the normal game is like that! Help!

How did you install BUG? What other mods have you installed? BUG doesn't modify any of the normal game files, so there must be something else in the mix.

Oh dear, well, all other mods didn't work at all (AKA normal game) and the Normal Game is also busty. I asked in everysingle forum, starting from Civ 4 General Discussions, Civ 4 Troubleshooting, Civ 4 BTS Troubleshooting, but noone helped me fix it once and for all.

I installed EXE. I also have ROM, Infuence Driven War, Civ Specific Units and that is it.

Did you use the Single-Player or Multiplayer install method? Do those other mods work? It sounds your BTS/Civ4 Assets/XML/Text folder has been deleted or maybe just moved somehow.

I recommend reinstalling Civ4/BTS/BUG and whatever other mods you want from scratch.

EDIT: Civ 4 Vanilla refuses to uninstall. TThe other mods don't work either.

How specifically does it refuse to uninstall? You can just delete the Civ4 directory entirely and reinstall again. You may need to remove its registry entries if it won't reinstall.
