HELP! Something messed up my game

check out this site, they have some good 3rd party drivers that offer DirectX 9.0b support. I'm not sure what your exact video card is, you should open up your machine and get the correct model # to verify.

I had once the same problem couple days back. Playing huge 32 civs with my own laptop Compaq P4 2.66G 128RAM. Then I tried to run at my office laptop Compaq Evo N1020v P4. 2.66G 256RAM, and it worked fine, and It was faster.

I came across a glitch on a re-install of civ 3.
When it asked to register, I sarted to, then quit half-way through.
After installing much of the fine work found at this site, I found that I couldn't start my game.(The error message).
I completely cleaned out my comp of civ 3, then reloaded.
Now it works just fine, and with the help of these fine graphic programmers, I'm working on a totally cool fantasy mod.
