Help: troubles starting FfH

Yes, I visited that very site a few times before you posted twenty-five minutes ago. I dowload the drivers, and then get informed that "the driver cannot be installed on this computer." I guess that part isn't exactly your problem, but if it means I can't play FfH... Do you have any idea what I can do to remedy this?

Nope, sorry. It does make me wonder why you cant install the drivers. Almost like you arent admin.

Well, let's see. This is an administrative account, but there's another account specifically named "administrator" that I can't select from the user profiles screen. However, I seem to need a password for it. I guess it's up to me to look it up, from here...

May Junil guide your path to FfH glory on the new computer.

Hey, I solved the problem! Turns out I didn't have Civ IV patched up to date, so it wouldn't run FfH. No drivers needed or anything. So... I guess no thanks to anyone... except me! :woohoo: Go me!

Nah, just kidding. It's the thought that counts. :thanx:

You realize you owe your soul to Agares now right?

HA. I dont think our beloved uberization of the vale as a corruptive force is going to happen. Shame, i was REALLY starting to get attached to the idea.

What if we made it so whenever an AV unit died, it had a x% chance to summon a balor under that player's control, where x is that unit's base strength. This could be very fun.

OO, or better yet, an equivilant deamon unit.

You lose a t2 Unit, you have x% chance of getting a t2 deamonic unit, and so on up to t4. The Deamon civ (forget its name) would love ashen vale because it simply replaces the dead unit with...the exact same unit (less expereiance). Everyone else would love ashen vale because of the potential to have access to a completely exclusive unit tree.

(I STILL WANNA see something with vale spreading corruption, but i dont expect i'll be seeing it :()

EDIT: Im thinking maybe 10% per level of the unit? Get a unit 10 and you WILL get an equivilant level 1 deamon unit if it dies.
