Help with G+K mod problem

I just got Gods and Kings yesterday so that I could play with a friend. Our idea is to each make a new Civ, send our mods to each other, and then use those to play 2 v 8 or whatever. Anyway, I was trying to test the mod, and I got this in the Database log:

I'm not quite sure what most of this is about, as all those Leader and Flavor error are not things added by me. How do I fix this? Is this a problem with my G+K game? I played part of a game yesterday night to get a feel for the game and it worked just fine. Thanks.
 
Have you enabled logging? Those errors are generated by non modded civ, mostly due to lack of dlc's and therfore can be ignored. Usualy when you have enabled logging you get a duplicate entry as the one you posted plus any additional errors generated by any mods you have active.
 
How do I enable logging? And how do I get a unique palace to work right? It doesn't provide the production, gold, science, or culture bonus even though I copied the palace xml and only added to it.
 
Enable logging in the Config.ini file. Do not think mods work Mp without some sort of additonal help. Search the forums and you will find lots of info.
 
That setting does nothing. You can't start MP games with mods. It used to be possible with a workaround but Firaxis made the game simply turn off all mods when MP games are started, so it no longer works.

It may be possible to do it by overwriting the original game files (and telling steam not to update). But as mods, no, it doesn't work.
 
Ah ok. That kind of sticks. New problem though. For some reason, when I try to use my mod I can't get to the renaissance era. The game crashes every time. I just tested it without a mod, and it works fine then. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Almost certainly you haven't added spy names to your Civ
 
You are very correct. I have only ever done vanilla Civ 5 mods. Didn't know I needed to add Spy names. I'll have to look into that. Thanks a bunch.
