Help with Multiplayer

when I go into multiplayer and hit internet it gives me the error: No internet connection found.

Troubleshooting I've done:
Verified other things work. Browser works, WOW, TF2, all work no problems.
Disabled computer firewall - Doesn't fix it.
Set the DMZ for my qwest router to allow all traffic to the box. - Doesn't fix
What DOES fix it is if I VPN into work and launch it, it works fine ( just for testing of course)

What I think the problem is:
I would guess my router. There are profiles that configure ports for WOW, browers, and I created one for TF2. So I just need to setup the right rules for Railroads and I think it will work.

So does anybody know the network/port information for Railroads? Googling didn't give me the answer so I'm breaking down and doing it the old fashion way... Ask questions.

so since nobody out there could... or wanted to help me. I downloaded and installed Wireshark. Watched the traffic and through a long process of elimination which lead me to about 3am..... ugh... I found out the following. You need to add the following allows to your firewall. I created a profile called Sid Meier's Railroads with this:



TCP Port range 6667-6667 Time out (sec)86400

TCP Port range 8488-8488 Time out (sec)86400

and it works fine now. Hopefully if any of you are having the same problem this helps... Oh and I have Qwest with a 2wire router/gateway.
