help with patch

i downloaded the "play the world" patch and installed it but when i try to play it, it says "please insert the CIVILIZATION IIIlay the World Disc" but i dont have it because its the patch that i used to install it.what can i do HELP!!!!!!!!!

Well, you'll need PTW in order to play it. The patches don't upgrade to the expansions, just update the code for the expansions. If you want the expanions, you'll need to buy them.
