Do they have to be the hero for your civ only to build shrine of the champion?
Do they actually have to die in battle or can you delete them?
How do you do the resurect spell on them?, also is that only for heroes from your civ only.

Thanks for any help :)

Shrine of the Champion only applies to the civ hero. For civs with multiple heroes (Lanun), I'm not sure, though I'd imagine the non-boat hero is the one who counts.

I imagine deleting them is fine, but I'm not sure - saving the game and testing it might be your best bet.

I believe resurrection is done by placing a unit with Life III, Channeling III and Sorcery on a life mana node, and clicking the spell button. I could be wrong.

At the moment, (unless I missed a change) deleting would work, though how much better to let them go down in a blaze of glory? Also, having another leader of the same civ in the game beat you to that hero would allow you to build it. Basically, if you cannot build and don't have your civ-specific world unit, you can build the shrine.

thanks for the info

well my hero wouldnt lose a battle, so i'll need the delete

Speaking of heroes, it might be neat to have a diplo modifier for killing a civ's hero..

sounds like a good idea, although it could be hard with hidden nationality heroes.

also what about some of the other leaders being heroes aswell, like hyborem and basium are, it could work for some easily e.g. jonas endain(especially with the weapon the pedia describes), tebryn or keelyn(as a summoner hero)
and many others...
