Hi all just getting back into Civ again and was checking things out. What happened to the HOF? More to the point what happened to all of my highscores? Were they all on Tiny maps?

If tiny was removed then why allow the opposite end with milking a hugh map?

Ever thought of breaking the lists up by map size? It would make more sense.



Side note, is the SDC still going on? I can't find any save downloads, and the one that exists #2 only has an empty zip file.

well i'm not the keeper of the hall but my understanding is that the page has been updated to a certain patch number. older versions that had certain exploits aren't acceptable anymore i don't think.

the rationale is that new versions do present new problems. for example in the latest ptw patch the barbarian activity is far more agressive at higher settings (i used to only play on 'raging', now i dont hehe) and the civs are reluctant to trade their workers. previously you could easily buy up workers and dick over the enemy's land production.

obviously the solution would be to have records of past scores per-patch. but i'm not the keeper of the hall now am i.
