hi colonization difficulty with installation for XP

I have acquired the game Colonization but have no sound.

I have windows XP but i believe that it is the DOS version that I have. I cant install it, I simply run the game directly

The game aside from the souns works perfectly. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Try running the game with DosBox. Mine runs fine on XP but also no sound. I don't use dosbox for it, as sound I could care less about. But this problem can be resolved provided you mount it correctly.
