High Council

I do so love the Council, but having the CD in means swapping out whatever was in there last(usually StarCraft BW or Diablo II) so I play w/o them. Maybe I'll just copy those huge movies to the HD... And BTW-- take the time to sit through those movies. They are hilarious, if repetetive. The guys did a great job on period costumes, and yeah, the accent is pretty bad, but I thought it was supposed to be Russian. I remember the Economics guy's ranting about discovering trade too. I personally have never seen that message except by watching the movies all at once. You'd have to be a pretty lousy player to get that message.

The Council is pointless, it's just in the game for looks. It serves no use, the information they give you is stupid or you alreayd know it.

Can't you just imagine what it was like for those people when they were making that footage? I mean, were those 5 people actor wannabes or something?

I can see it now:

"OK, now put on this roman garb and picture the scene - your leader is one that is ignoring your military. You are the mighty general, so plead to camera for him to build you the barracks you so desperately need."

How many takes do you think science guy had to do before "#1 in SCCIIEEENNNNNCCCCEEEE" got the OK?
