High High Scores

Hrm, I was thinking I was finally getting the hang of this Civ thing til I looked at some of the scores in the HOF and from the game of the week.

My best effort yet got me a score of 1.3K and I really dominated that game. What's the trick to getting scores in the 4-5K range??

If you play on a monarch level game your normal score will be around 4-5k

the higher the level of difficulties the more point you get for less but the harder it gets.

I noramlly conquer 2 AI in early age *minimum*and then it depend what i want to do.

I tend to get scores in the 3k range on monarch, playing standard maps. I haven't broke 4k on monarch.

well it depend on what kind of map your playing, i was talking about pangea map


on other map you probably will do lower score.
but what i said is for average player who didn'T spend time milking there game up to 2050. If you win your game 2050 you will get a better score then if you win it in 1900.

Some of these high score were made with old strategy as pop-rushing.

But now, this bug is supposed to be fixed.

I wouldn't worry about not beating the high scores here. Basketball is still fun for me to play even after watching Michael Jordan.
