ok, i am a newbie, and i might have gone too far for what i can do. I wanted to add another civ, and since i can't take ones from other games, like take civ from ptw (i.e.-Ottomans) and put em in vanilla, so i had to come up with my own. I made the Polynesians. I was making the name, i made em militaristic and religous, i got enough cities, and leader names. I made it so that the leader, King Kamehameha, had the Zulu's face, since i didn't have my own.
Well, i started playing as them, and all was going fine, until it said, you win cultural victory, which i wasn't expecting. I was happy, since it was my first real cultural victory, but then a screen popped up saying Error, can not read from PediaIcon files.
I went there, and saw that there were repetitions in the words, so i just copied and pasted Zulu's icon's at the end of each and every list so that i could have a Polynesian one. I changed everything that i thought i needed too, and made seperate files, that i copied from the zulu.
I played it again, and to test it, i only had 1 other civ, no auto respawn, and i killed them right at the start.
when i won a counquered victory, the same type of screen poped up and said no art/PediaIcons/Happy icon found, or something to that extent.
I really want to add another civ, but i just can't seem to get it to work, what am i doing wrong?
