Im playing c3c with edited rules cause i changed a few unit stats and goverment stats to make them more usefull , however the bad part of this is whenever i finish a game my scores dont go to my high score table.
Is there anything I can do to get them on the high scores table?
I think I did everything what whas explained in the editor so i have to start my games by the civ-content and pick the one with the edited rules , did I do something wrong?
Thank you in advance.

No, it is just the way they imploemented the scores. Only EPIC games go ing to high score.

is there no way to "trick" the game so that it automatically does it?

I too edited with my game, but liked being able to compare games so reinstalled so that i could have the high score tables

I think you can edit the default rules, which are in Civilization III\civ3mod.bic and Civilization III\Conquests\conquests.biq

Don't forget to backup those files first.

well yes, thats what i did.. but the score no longer gets placed in the high scores table for obvious/annoying reasons

It does for me...I have have scores on there that I got playingas New Zealand.

Are you sure that you edited:
Civilization III/Civ3mod.bic or
Civilization III/Conquests/conquests.biq

ah, but you have done merely cosmetic changes.... nothing like adding resources or changing UU's

Conquests uses a checksum to verify that the conquests.biq file is the original one. However, renaming the scenario (after backing up the original, of course) should work with VC3/PTW.
