Highest Percentage on a non-EARTH map?

I got a 99% on king on a random map

The highest on EARTH was 360% without cheating, it was a BC victory with 3 civs on prince I believe

My highest percentage on a non-earth map is 14%.. Yeah, I know I suck but I'm kinda glad I do cause that means I've got waaay more civ ahead of me

I rarely try to accomplish an SS victory.

a question at first!! the faq says that 180% is theoreticaly the highest possible score. Is that right? so how should 360% be possible?

and my best score with conquest in year 600 bc was 172%.
on earth 820 bc with 178%.

I do remember that I once had over 300% (on a PC which I no longer own, so I can't check it).

Otherwise, good scores tend to be 140% to 150%

Strangely, my highest was at Prince level, but it ended about 1300a.d with a very large population. Otherwise, I play Prince to relax and King for score.

Also, for score, only conquest gets a real high score (leave them with 1 city, then build 255 citites of your own before conquering them)

Hmm, I thought that the game replaced defeated players until about 1200 a.d, so you must have trashed the replacements too! Well done.

I generally try to get railroad by 1a.d. I only once had tanks by then - great score.

I liketo get on a big continent on my own - doing some fighting early if I must, then get democracy & head for Hoover Dam and don't start attacking until I have tanks, with bombers a few rounds later as support.

If I finish my current game I think I can get over 360%, but it is taking a very long time and I don't know if I will ever finish it. I have conquered the world bar one city, now I am building everywhere up. At the time limit I will try two alternate endings - spaceship and conquest - to see which gets higher score. This is on Emperor. But it would take ages as I have to run so many cities and settlers that a single turn can take in excess of 10 minutes.

Yeah I know what you are speaking about - even cheated building and settling won't help that much...
