I was looking through the Civilization III/Conquests folder and found something called HighScores.cv3, which is the High Scores (duh!). I was wondering about the format.

As far as I can figure out, it goes Name (the one you can pick at the Choose Your Civ screen), Civilization Number, Score, ??????, and Victory type (?).

But there are some weird things- there are 14 entries when the High Scores screen shows 10, and it seems to have the three lowest scores.

Also, I don't know what the 4th entry is, or why they're in that particular order.

I can't access Civilization atm, so it would help if someone posted a picture of the High Scores screen.

And yes, I used the all mountains world cheat- what about it? :mischief:

I'm not sure i understand the problem correctly, but here goes.
When you view your HOF, the 1st screen is the conquest scores, then the standard HOF.
The HOF can be viewed for one, some, or all civilization scores by clicking various names at the top. If there are more than 10 scores to view, it only shows the top 10.

There is no problem- I'm just curious.

1st thing: Civ
2nd thing: Score
3rd thing: Difficulty level
4th thing: Victory (or defeat) type
5th thing: Win or loss

Hope that helps :)

HighScore.cv3 format
civname A nnnnn B C D
A = the civ race counting from the list shown in the hall of fame. That is 22 would be Arabs.
B = level counting Chief as 0.
C = type of vic/loss
VictoryType: Domination(0), Conquest(1), Cultural(2), Diplomatic(3), Spacerace(4), Retired(5), Histograph(6)
D = 1 means won 2 means lost

nnnnn is your final score.

Thanks! Does anyone know what the other 4 entries (not the top 10) are?

In the picture on the first post, there are 14 entries. The High Score screen only displays 10. Three of these appear to be the three lowest scores.

Also, you can view your top ten of a particular civ, by just choosing that civ from the top checkboxes. By default, the all civs are checked. So if you chose Russian you would only see the two Catherine Scores.
