The first game I beat I got the Pathetic. I didn't like the game at all at the time. I found it very hard and frustrating because I didn't know how to play it well. That was before I found this wonderful site. I was looking forward to finishing my first game so I could stop playing since I wasn't havin much fun. Then I get a rating as Pathetic and that enticed me to play a new game and not be pathetic. Then I happened to find this site and read Cracker's guides and my enjoyment of the game skyrocketed. Now I can safely say I'm a fanatic myself.

When you start playing monarch or higher and win it's really hard not to get magnificent. I usually get magnificent in my regent games even. The scale isn't set up properly for all the difficulty levels IMO. I don't think anyone is lying.
