How do you increase the hit points to kill a unit? Under what section of the editor does one look?

So how would you make it easier to kill a swardsman buy doubling the hit points from 2 to 4 in order to kill him?

in the editor, look for the "combat experience" tab. there you can edit the default hitpoints for each experience level.

That sound like ALL units will be changed under that experience level. It sound like you can not change only 1 unit i.e. spearman?

You can, of course, change the Attack/defense values for each unit. I tend to increase the points for different eras:-

Middle Ages - 2x
Industrial - 3x
MOdern - 4x

This now means that it takes a couple of million warriors to be able to destroy a tank!

It would be interesting to see which is better for the game-play, increasing hit points or change attack/defense

Increased hitpoints works fine for me. It is still possible for strange battles, but so it should be. Just double the hitpoints for all levels, then you get a bit more fair game

Macaskil: Do you mean when the rea changes you go into the combat section of modciv3.bic and change the hip points 2x 3x 4x etc.?
