Ho to Create New Units and Add Them

I was tired of seeing all the same questions about creating and adding new units so I say we should post all ways how to do these and questions here. Maybe this will be a sticky(my dream!). I will post my bit tommorow, I gotta get to bed.

Write a tutorial and post it in the tutorial forum. Problem solved without annoying stickyness
