Holding shift during startup to clean the cache

And exactly when do we have to press it and how long do we hold it? When you start the program? When the intro plays? When we load/start a game?

Cannot this simply be an addition in the INI file? CleanCacheAtStart = 1

Just curious, in the meanwhile, will leaving the shift lock on accomplish the same thing.

As to the caps lock, I doubt it will do the trick. From a programmer perspective caps lock is something entirely different than the shift key(s).
