This is getting annoying. I am getting tired of going to "Tools/internet options" to change my home page to the page that I want. Everytime I try to restart IE, it keeps bringing me back to this stupid site called about:blank.

"about:blank" is not a webpage. Rather it is a blank IE window that doesn't connect to any servers. As mentioned, try running AdAware or Spybot.

I tried that and it still is present. I used both Spybot and Spywareblaster and it still pops up.

Did you tried deleting the registry entries like it said to in the article? If it still hijacked I am quite surprised.

That website is a free scanner, it doesn't remove the stuff. However it does give you the exact location of the adware on your computer, so you can manualy delete the stuff.

Tried do, but I dont want to go messing around in the computer that would make it unworkable.

I guess I should switch to Firefox.
