The Homestuck Mod is a conversion mod for Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword. It replaces all leaders in the game with characters from the webcomic Homestuck by Andrew Hussie. Various factions are now civilizations, and the Lands are also civilizations. The game also replaces 99% of the music with songs from Homestuck, and all leader quotes are in the typing quirk of their respective leader.

I would like to customize the mod some more, but for the time being I think the mod as is is sufficient.

Details:

1. Changed Jade's symbol to atom symbol
2. Added Mierfa Durgas and Nektan Whelan as leaders. Since they don't have a "Land of X and Y", I will be using my imagination.

Mierfa- Land of Winged Monsters and Debris (LOWMAD) (In reference to Perseus (her symbol) fighting monsters, and his shoes having wings, plus with Perseus meaning to destroy)

Nektan- Land of Steampower and Rum (LOSAR) (In reference to his love for Steampunk and being a pirate).

3. Added Cherub Civilization:

Leaders- Caliborn and Calliope (their symbol will be Calliope's since I used Caliborn's for The Felt)

Included in the patch:

1. 4 New Civilizations- MSPA, Prospit, Derse, and the Exiles.
2. 8 New Leaders- Andrew Hussie, White King, White Queen, Black King, Black Queen, Wayward Vagabond, Peregrine Mendicant, and Aimless Renegade.
3. Music Overhaul- Replacing the base Civ IV's "zoomed out" soundtrack with Homestuck music, and the War Music with "Showtime [Imp Strife Mix]".

NOTE: YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE DOWNLOADED PATCH v1.1 FOR PATCH v1.2 TO WORK PROPERLY!!!

No. It is not anything fancy. I do plan on seeing of one of the more experienced modders could possibly add in some units into the mod in the future. I do not have any experience in that, but I worked on this entire mod myself thus far. Save for leaderheads, flag decals, and music which is from Homestuck.

Ok, since my mod has been out for 5 months, I have decided I will make a little gift for everyone enjoying the mod.

If you would like your fan troll/kid to be playable in the mod, I will make a custom civilization just for you.

Here are the requirements:

1. Fully patched Up to v1.2 and the WV Music patch.
2. Your fan troll/kid must be a Hero Mode drawing (There are multiple blank templates to use)
3. The leader picture must be at least 500x500 or larger
4. A picture of the symbol of your fan troll/kid to use as an emblem for the Flag (Preferably also 500x500)
5. A song from Homestuck to use as the leader theme.
6. Your fan troll/kid needs a Land of "X" and "Y"
7. City Names (Captial city will be the Land, second city will be "Character"'s hive/house) (Nothing that is repeating)
8. I will need specifics on traits (2 need to be picked), favorite civic, and favorite religion:

1. Christianity - Sufferer's Cult
2. Judaism - Vast Honk/Juggalo
3. Islam - Social Justice
4. Confucianism - Outer Rim/Grimdark
5. Taoism - The First Coming of Lord English
6. Buddhism - Dreamers/Dreaming
7. Hinduism - Hemospectrum

9. Unique Building, Unique Unit, and two starting technologies (Agriculture, Mining, Hunting, Fishing, Mysticism, The Wheel)
10. Quotes for your leader in their typing style (Note some symbols will not work due to conflicts in the code)

Once I get your Fan civilization finished, I will need your email to send it to you, and all you need to do is replace the assets folder in the Homestuck Mod directory.

I would love to make people custom civs.
