The city that has withstood raid after raid by Imperial Regentian Troops has finally been eradicated from the face of the Earth. Eight catapults and their crews have been impressed into the Regentian army, and a man of royal stature is seen riding full speed towards Camulodunum. It is assumed this man is Calis.
The reserves, exhausted but still able to fight, ride towards the final Celtic stronghold of Camulodunum.
The Battle of Camulodunum
(4/4) Regenthorse vs. …
The regenthorse arrives at the open city of Camulodunum. Because of its defenselessness, and the fact that Lugdunum was in riots as the Regentians attack, must prove that the Celtic people were indeed tired of the slaughter, the murder, the razings. Upon arrival, the commander sees the Celtic peasants, oppressed by the Feudalistic government of Calis, running out of the city in masses; they know what fate awaits them in Regentian hands. The royal figure did not stop in town. Instead, he fled to the coast, where a makeshift vessel was ready for him. It shoved off before a regenthorse detachment was able to stop it. Luckily, the RSS Eggnog intercepted the ship, and sent it to the depths. Calis was seen, sword drawn, standing silently on the bridge as it went down. The Celtic civilization is over.

Calis, a big thanks for participating in this game. I had a load of fun playing with you and attempting to play you against vikingruler. You put up one hell of a fight, especially at Lugdunum (those catapults pissed me off more than you can imagine). I don’t know how many regenthorses died attempting to take it; perhaps you still have the battle logs. May we meet again in the future; it would be an honor!

Again, I’d love to hear your questions/comments/clarifications Calis. My spoiler thread at CDZ follows:

Not yet SpikeIt…

SpikeIt, my friend, my buddy, my dear ally since turn ten of this game: Congratulations! The Alliance is victorious! We sacrificed, built, and talked for quite a long time. My border cities had no protection at all since our alliance was born; you gave up your iron so that I could build regenthorses; you shared your technology and wealth. Thank you for being the best damn ally a person could ask for!

The way I see it, we have three options:
- 1. Race to space: Promise no wars for the duration of the game and see who can build the spaceship first.
- 2. Continue as a normal game. Whatever happens, happens.
- 3. Declare a joint victory and end the game. We win!
And that’s all I have.

Graciously,
RegentMan
