First question:
I have an AMD FX-57 with 2 Geforce 7800 GTX cards in SLI mode. I notice sometimes like when I open the civlopedia or the town screens I get a thin white blinking horizontal line in the center of the screen. I noticed one post where someone was getting a green line all the time in the center of their screen but that was due to them having "show GPU load balancing" turned on in the SLI settings for the graphics cards. My problem is a minor visual annoyance and so far seems to be the only graphics problems I've had with Civ IV. I have the latest 1.52 patch installed and I'm using nvidia's 81.95 drivers. I know as of Dec 21, there is a new update 81.98 of which I have yet to do. Would that work? I'm always afraid to go to a new patch unless I have to.

2nd Question:
When moving units using the go to command or moving them more than one space at a time, I notice the unit will move really fast and basically skip the animation of it walking from tile to tile. It seems to act as if I had the "quick moves" option turned on in the settings but I don't. Any way to have the game always show the walking animations and not practically teleport the unit to the spot? It walks them normally if I move them one square at a time.

3rd Question:
I noticed when certain events happen like a barbarian attacks one of my units, the game does not zoom to the event. All I do is read about it but I don't see the actual combat unfold unless I am already centered over that area. How can I get the game to zoom in on an event like that as it happens? It seems like I have the "no combat zoom" turned on if that’s how that option works that is.

All your help is greatly appreciated!
