My friend and I have a weird issue. We have tired to play a game together via Gamespy. And while we can both connect to other peoples games without issue, neither of us seem to be able to host a game - at least not one either of us can connect to.
I am unsure what he has done, but I have opened all relevant ports (per the port post) via Windows Firewall. I have disabled Windows Firewall 100%. I have disabled my AV. Still no luck.
We both connect via DSL, me ATT him a local provider. Neither of us are behind routers. His modem is a USB type, mine is Ethernet. We also cannot seem to direct connect.
Is there something simple I am missing?
