Hotseat problems

Hi there!

I am new here but had a quick look through this forum and i have the following problem occuring in hoseat games:
My friend is player1 (the "host")
I am player 2

1st problem:
HE does NOT get to see any ENEMY-FRIEND movement!
ONLY I see the enemys moving, hence only the ones who are next to me.
e.g. He has a unit somewhere at the front, and he doenst see if this unit gets attacked, but when he has his turn, this unit will be simply damaged or destroyed!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT TO DO??

2nd (more a question):
When we played and I (2nd player) saved the game, i was suddenly all on my own and we had to load a VERY old game which HE saved some time ago. Does that mean only PLAYER 1 can save games??

1st problem: Known problem. But in friday chat firaxis said they have no immediate plans to fix it!

2nd problem: What patch level are you playing? I am on 1.14f and every time I save it saves as a hotseat game. I actually want to save my hotseat game as a single player game but I don't know how to do it.

I am still playing with 1.01 or whatever that is. For some reason the 1.14f doesnt work for me although i have the US-Version...

2nd problem: I noticed that if you are in a single player game and you load a hotseat game, the hotseat game changes to single player. However, sometimes the human player in the SP game is not the same player as the one who saved the game.

Firaxis says changes are coming because you can use this to cheat.

I hope wish list means they seriously are working to fix the "only last player can see enemy movement" bug. I have since gone back to CTP2 multiplayer because of this.
