hotseat trading?!?!?

my and my friends have an awsome time playing hotseat but we cant trade with each other, as soon as i click something it goes right back. how do u trade in hotseat

You are probably suffering from a known bug. You cannot trade with the first player in hotseat mode.

so if I make the first player an AI, it will work? gggggggrrrrrrrr, anyone know if the patch will fix this?

If you make the first player an AI, then (according to the bug forum, I haven't tested it myself) you and your friend should be able to trade with each other, but neither of you can trade with the AI which is the first player now.

The list of issues which were worke upon for the patch mentions "multiplayer tweaks for hotseat", but we don't know anything specific.

Actually, some posters tred to add in game 3 players and then drop the first one at the start.

It seems it worked, until they loaded the saved game.
Then second player in row (now the real 1st pleyer) got bugged.


Anyway, I'll wait for patch to play Hotseat.

This is only real Civ4 bug that affects me.
(and maybe Ironworks)

whats the iron works bug?!

The Iron works doesn't, well, work. Or it works only partially. You do get the free engineers, but not the production bonus.

Not important anymore, since it got fixed with new patch.
Including hotseat problem.
