Hotseat?

Me an my m8 like to play hotseat we have played on civ 2 up until this point so we got civ 3 play the world because it said it came with hotseat option? now we presumed the hotseat option would be the same as or similar to that in civ 2 but we cant seem to get a 2 player hotseat going? there doesnt seem to be an option to do hotseat? can anyone help me out?

Been a while since I played PTW but I know hotseat is possible. After selecting a form of multiplayer their might be a pull down list where you can select hotseat. Just look around you should find it. If in extreme doubt check the electronic (adobe) manual on your ptw disk.

I just tried it on civ3 gold edition and all i had to do was select muliplayer and then hotseat from the menu, easy. PTW should be the same.
