Being a 6 points pick in MoO2, I was of the opinion that it sucks, big time.

But then again, most Ultra and Rich planets are high-g, which aren´t guarded by monsters which give a nice production boost in the crucial early game. And the 2 hits for killing really lets you save on planetary assaults.

But the most interesting fact, using enter ferries/assault shuttles, dunno the english term to capture ships from afar, or use the neutron blaster/tractor beam combo. You can basically storm anything you want with a High-G race like the Bulrathi.

Or am I delusional?:crazyeye:

No, High-G isn't too bad trait, mainly due to the penaltyless colonisation of high-g worlds. And +1 hp for troops ain't too bad either, makes conquering enemy planets easier :)

I would say it is not a real useful trait, unless you are making a special race to invade with early.

I tried it once. It works good against the AI. It isn't the best pick for playing online because you can't count on seeing a lot of Ultra Rich Heavy-G planets. If you run any of of the map editor programs that gives the stats, it's something like 75% that are normal-g. That's why Low-G really sucks.
