I hate that team project it takes all the fun and destructiveness out of nuclear warfare when only a few nukes out of many can get through. Nuclear warfare should be about MAD and nuclear powers shouln't be attacked unless they wish to see the buisness end of a nuke!

So i can't locate the XML file(s) needed. Which files would i need to change and what changes would i need to make?

Edit: Also how could i tone down the protection of a bomb shelter?

Its in civ/assets/xml/gameinfo/projects.xml (I think thats correct, i'm at work and going from memory). Its not in the warlords folder, the file is in the vanilla folder, but it'll affect warlords as well.

Personally, I changed the techprerequisite to say "FUTURE_TECH" so it can only be built when you've got future tech 1. I also doubled the cost of bomb-shelters and made nukes 1/4 of the price. It makes the future (nuclear ;)) era a hell of a lot more interesting! Making the nukes 1/4 of the price effectively tones down the bomb shelter, as everybody has 4 times as many nukes, but if you want to do it directly, then it should be in the warlords/assets/xml/buildings folder somewhere.

Thank you so very much. Now nukes should be more fun

I disabled the SDI by making the amount allowed to be built "0" and i made the shelter 50% resistant

I need to ask one more thing- How do i reflect the changes in the civipedia? I can't find the part where i can change the "Special abilities" of the bomb shelter (to reflect 50% resistance) and a place where i can remove the SDI entirely (or just make it dormant)

personally i think there needs to be a sliding scale for production, the first of anything invariably costs more than the say the 100th off the production line (yeah yeah assuming constant material supply costs).

You do have a good point. If your city has been making the same products for the past 50 years, odds are there has to be some increase in production. More skill and experience.

why not put nukes when you get writing lol
that should do it
than you need GE to actually build it

That could be quite interesting actually. Stick it onto a religious tech, change the skin to a great prohpet, and it'd be divine fire straight from god :crazyeye:  :crazyeye:
