How can I install this leaderhead?

Okay, first let me salute all of you guys. I'm completely new to Civilization IV and I've had a very good time so far.

I've been reading, learning and practicing, this game is pretty awesome.

Well, my problem is this: I found this awesome leaderhead: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=306887

BUT I have no idea how to install it and start playing with him. In fact, I have no idea how to install any of the content in the Downloads section. I've found threads about this but they are quite complicated... sorry for being a complete noob, but can I have somebody explain to what I should do? I have all Civ 4, Warlords, Colonization and BTS... Thank you very much for your time, I would really appreciate your help.

If you want to play standard BtS with just this added leader then all you need do is

1. download the file
2. find your Mods folder for BtS. Mine is Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Beyond the Sword/Mods
3. Create a new folder in that , call it something eg "BtS with Putin"
4. extract everything in the downloaded file into the newly created folder
5. Start Civ IV, Go Advance, Load a Mod, select the mod you just created, Play

If you want to play with it in another Mod then it becomes a bit more difficult.
