First of all, hello to everyone, since this is my first post. I have been playing Civ V for the last month, and fallen in love (read: lost valuable hours of sleep) to it. I have also been very interested in the modding aspects of it, which seems to be simple and with potential, but also seems a bit underdeveloped in terms of published content. And being a 16-year old that searches an early entrance to the game development world, I decided to start (trying to) mod for Civ V. I don't guarantee results of any kind, but it'll be a start.
Now, I can only guess that my question in the title is not clearly enough, so let me clarify: I would like to make a World Wonder that, once completed by a civilization, becomes unavalaible as usual- but enables everyone else to build a similar National Wonder or Program that was not avalaible before. As an example- "Apollo Program" becomes a World Wonder avalaible to everyone, but when someone completes it, the "Moon Landing" Program/National Wonder becomes avalaible for everyone else, but not for the one who completed the Apollo Program. Is that even possible, and if yes, how could it be accomplished?
Oh, and maybe I'm biting more than I can chew with this, but is it possible to have it transfer part of the production from the World Wonder to the National Wonder after being beaten to it? To clarify -Player 1 and Player 2 both try to build the Apollo Program Wonder, but Player 1 makes it first; Player 2 gets 50% of the production wasted to it as gold, and the other 50% goes to the Moon Landing National Wonder. Is that possible, and if yes, which would be a good way to do it?
