Founder beliefs obviously only benefit the founder of the religion. While Pantheon and Follower beliefs help anyone who has the religion (founder or non-founder).
But exactly how do the Enhancer beliefs work?
Spread beliefs (Religious Text, Itinerant Preachers, Religious Unity) work on the religion, regardless of whose city it is, so it works equally well for all cities with that religion (regardless of owner).
My understanding (please confirm) is that the missionary/prophet enhancers (Holy Order, Messiah, Missionary Zeal) automatically apply to all units of the appropriate belief. (I recall Scenarios where I benefited from cheaper missionaries even though I didn't found the religion). Is that right?
But how about Defenders of the Faith, Just War, and Reliquary? How do you determine which players will benefit from this (especially if only some of their cities are of the right religion)? Does only the Founder benefit from these three?
On a similar note, for the Pantheon belief Faith Healers, I assume it automatically works as long as the city has that belief? So if you are next to a friendly city with this belief/religion controlled by another player, you still get the benefit?
