How do I dissect leaderhead flics?

How do I turn a leaderhead flic file into many seperate pictures, and then put them back into a modified flic leaderhead file. The only flic programs I know of are for units.

you'll need a program like Animation shop, with comes with the trial version of Paint Shop Pro 8, I believe.
