How do I fire my ICBM?

I've built three ICBMs, but when I press the red button to go into nuke mode I can't seem to find anyway to make the thing fire.

How exactly do ICBMs work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't fire em without first declaring war on your target. Confused me a little at first as well until I realised.

Ahh thanks, I just figured out what the problem was... That was dumb of me.

I was attempting to launch it at a city with no defenses, not considering that it didn't attack units.
