How do I install a civilization?

Sorry if this has been answered a billion times... i searched for threads, but didn't come up with anything (btw, the 180 second wait between searches is overkill), nor did i find anything in the civ mod threads themselves... i'm just trying to install the tibet and israel civs...

help?

Do you mean install a civilization as a mod? If you download a civilization like the Celts for example, you use WinRAR to extract in into

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods

Once there you select advanced from the main menu after starting Civ4. Select the "Celts" or whatever civ mod you install. Your computer will reload Civ4 with the correct files and then you'll play a game with that new civ as an option. Alternatively install the 25meg SuperCiv pak that L'Ankou put together and you'll have tons of new civs. I think there are instructions in that thread.

Or if it uses WinZip:
DL the file. Extract the folder, then move the folder into
C:\Documents and Settings\Alex\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\MODS.
Then in game, go to Advanced, Load A Mod, and click the one you want to play.
