Hi all, I'm quite new to this site, so please be kind and patient!
Also forgive my poor English...
I tried to download some scenarios for CIV3 Conquests, I installed them in the correct directories but when I try to launch them, the game quits complaining about a missing file.
- For example, I tried "Age of Imperialism 2 v.1.6", I can choose the civilization but when I start to play it says something like: "FILE MISSING: ART\UNITS\COASTAL BATTERY\..\BOMBER\BOMBERDEATH.WAV", then quits.
- If I try to play "Europe 1919" it complains about the file "ART\FLICS\ITALY.FLC" (or URSS.FLC, GERMANY.FLC etc. depending upon the chosen civ).
- And so on...
I'm quite sure it isn't a issue related to a specific scenario, since it affects every scenario I've tried.
Since the missing files aren't included with the original Conquests game, I'm wondering if I'm supposed to download separate files or if there is a specific way to install scenarios.
Of course I've searched within the forums but there are thousands of messages and I'm totally lost!
