How Do I Install Mods?

The Title says it all, i have been looking around and i cant find a step by step instructions on how to so i was wondering if anyone knew where a guide was or could give me step by step instructions on how to do it.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks...

Step 1: Download mod.
Step 2: Place mod in Civilization IV/Beyond the Sword/Mods/
Step 3: Make sure you have the required version for the mod. (3.19 for most recent mods)
Step 4: Start BtS.
Step 5: Go Advanced/Load a Mod
Step 6: Select your mod and start it.
Step 7: Mod loads.

If you have vanilla, well, go back about 50* pages in the modpacks forum.
