I hv an update program that uses too much memory so I never start it unless I can let it run for a while. This is all fine and dandy but I have one, BIG problem...... the damn program automatically starts whenever I connect to the internet (or actually, its whenever i download from the internet. ex: loading a website, etc).
Which brings me to my question: HOW IN THE WORLD DO I STOP A PROGRAM FROM AUTOMATICALLY RUNNING UPON CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET WITHOUT UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM?
Would editing the registry help? If so, how?
